Some movie cars are almost more famous than the main actors in the movie. In this list, you will find those cars!
Nissan Skyline GT-R (2 Fast 2 Furious)
The Fast and Furious franchise has brought us a lot of cars that made boys dream of becoming a street racer. Brian O’Connors Nissan Skyline was probably the hottest car in the second part of the movie series. Unfortunately, the car was destroyed early in the movie, but it is still considered as one of the classics from the franchise.
Greased Lightning (Grease)
Greased Lightning! Oh, Greased Lightning! Yeah, you probably have that song in your head right now… We’re sorry about that. But this car just couldn’t be left out of this list.
Bumblebee (Transformers)
Bumblebee is simply an excellent car, and it can even transform into an enormous robot! Especially the Camaro versions of Bumblebee are iconic. We cannot imagine a Camaro without the bright yellow color and the black stripes, do you?
DeLorean DMC-12 (Back To The Future)
“When this baby hits 88 miles per hour… You’re gonna see some serious things.”
This line might be as iconic as the ‘baby’ it’s about. The Delorean DMC-12 is considered a dull car but as you can see in the image below, the moviemakers definitely made a cool car out of it. How can anybody call a car with those doors dull?!
Herbie (The Love Bug)
Who doesn’t love the original Volkswagen Bug? Especially when it looks like Herbie! It looks cute, fast and simply adorable. The number 53 is a truly iconic movie car, loved by old and young!
General Lee (The Dukes of Hazard)
The way you see ‘General Lee’ in this picture is probably the way people remember this iconic car most of the times. The Duke boys, Bo and Luke jumped around with this car all the time. And it is of course known for its signature horn and the fact that the doors couldn’t be opened. 325 Dodge Chargers were used while recording the series.
Brian’s Supra (The Fast and The Furious)
The bright orange color, crazy graphics, and the huge spoiler make this car a clear fan favorite. Although a lot of awesome cars have been used in the Fast and Furious franchise, this one is one of the most iconic since it showed the real DIY streetcar character from the early part of the movie series.
Batmobile (Batman franchise)
There have been many different Batmobiles in various forms and we simply cannot decide which one is best. But one thing they all have in common is that they are really tough, really fast, and really badass. So here’s to all Batmobiles the Batman franchise has given us!
Ecto-1 (Ghostbusters)
This 1959 Caddilac has become an iconic car through the Ghostbuster franchise. By the looks of it, you can clearly tell that there is something special going on with this car.
Aston Martin DB-5 (James Bond)
The DB-5 screams class and sportiness. Even without the gadgets, it is an incredible car. We believe this car is the most iconic movie car of all time, and it is really fitting for the James Bond character.
