The Monte Carlo Rally is an annual rally event held courtesy of the Automobile Club de Monaco. The first race of its kind was held in 1911 and the current route runs along the French Riviera in southeast France. The Monte Carlo Rally possesses everything a fan of racing will want to see. Pikes Peak Hill Climb
The second longest-running Motorcross race in America was first staged in 1916 and is generally considered the king of the hill climbs. ‘The Race to the Clouds’ course is nearly 12 and a half miles long and begins at an altitude of 9,390 feet. The course consists of 156 turns and ends at the summit of Pikes Peak Mountain. At 14,115 feet, the ending elevation of the race is nearly 5,000 feet higher than the beginning of the race.

The Isle of Man race is well over 100 years old. Racers and fans still congregate at the Isle of Man each year to experience the same excitement experienced at the first race in 1907. The goal of racers who seek adventure at the Isle of Man race is the coveted Tourist Trophy. Racing enthusiasts who desire to experience the pinnacle of motorcycle racing should not miss a chance to attend the Isle of Man competition.
24 Hour of Nurburgring
This 24-hour racing event is held each year in central Germany. The race takes place over a course that is more than 25 miles long and provides the opportunity for 200 cars and 700 racers to compete. The scenery is beautiful along the racecourse but many knowledgeable racing fans believe the ‘Green Hell’ to be the most grueling endurance course that exists.
Dakar Rally
The 30-year-old Dakar Rally involves multiple classes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles competing in an off-road endurance contest that takes place over a two-week period. It is considered a great accomplishment just to finish the race at Dakar. The Dakar Rally is an extremely brutal race that sees many competitors get into a lot of trouble on the course each year. Race stages are sometimes hundreds of miles per day and no rally race can compare to Dakar for sheer brutality,
